Disrespectful Relative

What I hate most are disrespectful people. The ones who always think that they are above everyone else. 

During my teen years when I was staying with my Dad and his wife. His wife has a niece who is super annoying always bring his so call boyfriend now husband to come over to the house to play mahjong. Never even consider that I am a human there that needs sleep. Play until godly hours. Ya I know...I know... Than why your Dad don't say anything? Sigh... To this day at half century old than I released why. ***Read my previous blog to what happened last few years of my life***Still other times they drop by last minute and ate the food that was prepared for only 3 people. Seriously... Angry... Thought they were history from my life. 

Than I got married and again another foolish me to think my BIL is nice. However, things begin to change. Previous Chinese New Year, we work so hard to cook a feast for the family and he came here bringing vegetarian dishes. The nerve of him! 😤🤬😡 If you vegetarian that day, don't waste our time to cook like slave and turn around you claim to be the saint while we are the devils who put meat infront of you to tempt you. After that I swear never to cook feast anymore during Chinese New Year. Will be plain Steamboat henceforth. It doesn't end there. Last year he spring onto us and brought a guest, nephew girlfriend to join us without a decency to inform us. Nevermind, nephew parents also don't know to tell us too. So again another disrespectful one. Lucky we have enough food. This year he again tries to ask to come during reunion dinner. I said HELL NO! When FIL was alived, just to make him happy we tolerated them but now FIL is gone, we ain't gonna allow all of them take us for granted! Want us to cook, you all eat and leave just because one if you all have places to go? Not my problem... Not in my house anymore... Go find your dinner somewhere else. You dont repect us, dont expect to get any back. This year we told him directly RSVP. The nerve of him to say only additional chopsticks only what. Who prepare? So if not enough chairs can ask guest to sit on floor or no you sit on floor to eat? We prepare everything and he act like he invites anyone he wants. 😡🤬😤So disrespectful! Lucky he never say to me if not at this age, I no longer learn to hold my temper for people like him. You get what you give. Disrespectful with Disrespectful!!! Henceforth, Chinese New Year ever year has been HELL! Couldn't wait to get over with it.

Goals 2025

After 10++ years of being a Stay at Home Mom, I decided Year 2025 was my time to move forward for better change. There were many signs given to 🫸 me. 

1st sign - my last child has reached that stage he no longer need me. 😩😭. He has started Polytechnic last year. Trying hard to blend in campus life. He is looking out for part time jobs. Earning his own extra cash. Having friends like he never had during Secondary School days. Having a girlfriend. Busy with going out. Feel bit sad though when are all grown up and you are no longer needed. 😭😭😭

2nd sign - my 1st visit to the new found temple Lam Hai Kwan Hock Tua . Told me things that I needed to know. Gave me 🫸I needed. Allow me to moved on for a better happier day ahead. 

3rd sign - Feng Shui Masters postings on social media about 2025 luck for Chinese Zodiac has confirmed its time to make that move. 

So I have started to make the ball moving. I have submitted my application to volunteer. Hope they'd get back to me soon after Chinese New Year and allow me to start my volunteering work. No more stalling. Let get the ball rolling. 

I have also attended the gardening classes before 2024 ends using my Skills Future Credit. Thanks to Gardens with Purpose for bringing the class close to my home so that i xan attend 😂🫰❤️

🙅 Longer want to wait for my hubby to bring me places. I am making the decisions myself. Selfish hubby only knows how to 🗣️never do anything nor help. I have planned to go Japan Tokyo like many people these days do. DIY! If others can do it, I can too! Why wait! 

After my trip, I will be open to market and job hunting. I approached CareerGrit for free Coaching. Got some advice which direction I should go. After so many years of lost touch, I do not know where my direction. I want a change. Now I know!

Temple

The temple we used to go to Kuah Na Keng Temple, the person who represents Guan Yin Buddha has retired 😩. This was a hit to us as this means we no longer can ask her for blessings and advice. After searching and searching for past few months, finally found one by the end of the year and was able to seek help we needed for the coming year 2025. It is Lam Hai Kwan Hock Tua temple. A very much smaller temple than what we previously was with. We have come across this temple several times but didnt noticed it much cuz it was not known to have any special events. Only last year it started to put on social media and that is how I found it. It is always this type of blessings that hint and points directions to me that helps me alot in life. For that I am grateful 🙏.
