Came around after surgery about 3:30pm. By 5pm, I start to vomit. First was phelm. Came out a bit red couldn't see what was it cuz I was still feeling drowsy from the general anesthesia.
Later, vomit several times. Couldn't keep food down. Was so weak. Needed the nurse to assist me to go pee. Almost fainted in the toilet. Luckily Senior Nurse hold on to me. Later was given medication to stop vomiting. Was hungry middle of the night. Ate the banana left from dinner. Couldn't sleep well.The IV was in the way and I couldn't place my hand comfortable enough to sleep. I had to lie flat on my back. Couldn't sleep on the left nor right. The constant wake between sleep to take blood pressure and medication. Doctor put me on 2 drips. Whole night heading toilet to pee.
Anyway, I survived! Next day, I was able to get down the bed. Walk slow small steps.Head clear from the drowsiness. Could be discharged and get some good rest at home. Slept well after.
