Courtesy Gesture

Ages ago, we often used two below common gesture.

1. Thank You
2. Sorry

These two common courtesy gesture seem to fading fast in the real world today. People have seem to take these two for granted and failed to use it often enough. So try it! You'd be surprise how you it will make you feel and how appreciative it will make the other person feel.

MRT Trains - Passengers leaving and entering the train

I recently read someone complain about how people entering a train always don't allow those leaving the train to get off first before rushing to get in. I have encountered this many times myself too and felt the frustration. However, if you really give it some thought, the fault is not only at the person who is trying to get out of the train but also the one trying to get into the train.

The person leaving the train. I noticed that when people give way for them to leave the train, most people do it slowly especially when the person in front who have get out of train don't move away for others behind them to get out coz they have already reached their destination.  Thus, causing a traffic jam behind for those who want to get off.

The person trying to get on the train. When the people trying to leave the train takes their time to move away from the train, by the time they allow those who to get off the train, they couldn't get into the train coz the door is beeping to close. Fortunately for those already got off the train, they reach their destination and do not see the frustration of those trying to get into the train.

In this case, everybody have to work together to think about what if you are in the other person's shoe?  Would you also be feeling the same frustration?
